Anyone who has been or knows of someone, male or female in an abusive situation should read this true story.I found that the Author, Rick Minerd, who is a retired Chief of Police, provides some very helpful hints and explains the laws that do protect those that are being abused.
The message I received from Mr. Minerd's advice is no-one deserves to be abused; there are "Laws and Police Officers" who are there to "Service and Protect" victims of this horrible act.
This is a very good book and "Lillian's Story" made my heart hurt.
Rest in Peace Lillian, knowing your story did not go un-heard by many who you never knew thanks to a very loving son. Greatly Appreciated Indeed.
